Obituary

Consuelo (Martinez) Soliz, 87, of Plainview, passed away on Friday, Jan. 16, 2015. A celebration of Christian Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 19, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Ramundo Enriquez officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the personal care of Lemons Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited on Sunday, Jan. 18, 2015, at 6 p.m. in Lemons Memorial Chapel. She was born Sept. 25, 1927, to the late Pedro and Isaura Martinez. Mrs. Soliz married Paul Soliz on Jan. 20, 1950, in Clovis, New Mexico. She spent her life taking care of her family as a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Isaura; her husband, Paul; one son, Daniel Soliz; and a brother, Thomas Martinez. Those left to cherish her memory are five sons, Antonio Soliz, Raynaldo Soliz, Baldomero Soliz, Jesse Soliz and Richard Soliz; one daughter, Sylvia Crowder; and one sister, Dora Gonzales.
