Obituary

Funeral services for Frances Smith, 65, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Bartley Funeral Home with the Rev. Tracy McWilliams of Southside Assembly of God officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Bartley Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Smith died Wednesday, May 2, 2007, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock. She was born May 3, 1941, in Denison to William Perry and Ezalee Blevins. She married Walter Smith on July 4, 1989, in Plainview. She owned Scott's Furniture and Appliance. She was a Baptist. Survivors include her husband; two sons and two daughters-in-law, Clifford and Jeretha Scott of Lubbock, and Jerry and Candace Scott of Amarillo; two daughters and one son-in-law, Sharon and David Barrett, and Loretta Gibson, all of Plainview; one stepson and stepdaughter-in-law, Robert and Camey Smith of Missouri; two step-daughters and one stepson-in-law, Edna and Gary Billips of Lanagon, Mo., and Patricia Turner of Stella, Mo.; 25 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
