Funeral services for John Marvin Smith, 96, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church of Petersburg with Cliff Smith, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Petersburg Cemetery by White Funeral Home of Idalou. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. Smith died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007, in Lubbock.
