Smith, Jana Kay

Abernathy ? Funeral services for Jana Kay Smith, 39, of Irving, formerly of Abernathy, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Gerrie Hensley officiating.

Burial will be in Abernathy Cemetery by Abell Funeral Home.

Ms. Smith died Thursday, May 11, 2000, in Covenant Lakeside Medical Center in Lubbock.

She was born April 24, 1961, in Lubbock. She graduated from Abernathy High School in 1979 and moved to Dallas in 1993 from Lubbock. She was a member of Indiana Avenue Baptist Church.

Survivors include her parents, Jim Bob and Roifae Smith of Lubbock; two brothers, Kevin Lee Smith of Midlothian and Robert Roy Smith of Lubbock; and her grandmother, Vera Miller of Abernathy.
