Smith, Hobbie, Mrs. (Willie Dee Holloway)

Funeral services for Willie Dee Smith, 87, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Garry Page, pastor of Christ the King Church of Plano, officiating and the Rev. Neil Unwin, pastor, assisting.

Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home.

Mrs. Smith died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2001.

She was born Jan. 9, 1914, in Sanger and married Hobbie Smith on May 17, 1937, in Plainview.

She moved to Plainview in 1925 with her family and had also lived in California before moving back to Texas in 1947.

She was a farmer?s wife and a 50-year member of the First Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Paul of Plainview; and two sisters, Lois Poole of Plainview and Dorthy Thaxton of Amarillo.

A brother, J.B. Holloway, is deceased.

The family suggests memorials to the First Assembly of God Church, 1300 N. I-27, Plainview, TX 79072.
