Sisson, Dan, Mrs. (Donna M. Garchet)

Abernath-- Funeral services for Donna M. Sisson, 60, of Lubbock, will be at 2 p.m. today in Northside Baptist Church with the Rev. Joel Perez, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Abernathy Cemetery by Abell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Sisson died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2003, in Lubbock.

She was born July 21, 1943, in Springfield, Ill., the daughter of Roy and Lorraine Alice Garchet. She grew up in Needles, Calif., and had lived in Clovis N.M., for 29 years.

On June 16, 2000, in Clovis, N.M., she married Dan Sisson, who worked at the John Deere dealership in Abernathy for several years.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Tom Cooper of Centerton, Ark.; two daughters, Tina Hamlett of Texarkana and Lori Baird of Birmingham, Ala.; two sisters, Shirley Gilbert of Aberdeen, Md., and Sherry Lovelady of Aurora, Colo.; three brothers, Chuck Garecht of Needles, Calif., Lotty R. Peebles Jr., and Carl D. Peebles, both of Ocala, Fla; and six grandchildren.

Her parents, and her stepfather, Lotty R. Peebles Sr., are deceased.
