Funeral services for James Grant Sisemore, 83, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Q.D. Bevill officiating.
Burial will be in Plainview Memorial park by Lemons Funeral Home.
Mr. Sisemore died at 5:50 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 27, 2003, at Prairie House Living Center.
He was born Nov. 26, 1920, in LaFayette, Ga. He married Anita Belle Allen on Jan. 5, 1939. He served in the Army during World War II from 1942-45.
He farmed near Amherst, Halfway and Plainview and worked at a well drilling service for many years.
He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; four sons and daughters-in-law, James and Barbara Sisemore of El Reno, Okla., Jerry and Lisa Sisemore of Lago Vista, Ricky and Paula Sisemore of Plainview and Chris and Alisa Sisemore of Lubbock; three sisters, Viola Stephenson of Big Spring, Pennye Hawkins of Fair Oaks, Calif., and Lorene Belyeu of Hale Center; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to Bethel Baptist Church Building Fund.
