Obituary

Lloyd Shugart, 63, of Plainview, died Feb. 12, 2013, in Lubbock. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Robert Malcolm officiating. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. today, Feb. 13, at the funeral home. Mr. Shugart was born Oct. 12, 1949, to L.P. and Janie Shugart in Vernon, Texas. He married Sherrill Reynolds on Jan. 31, 2009, in Las Vegas, Nev. He is survived by his wife, Sherrill Shugart of Plainview; one daughter, Misty Price of Dallas; a stepdaughter, Tiffany Brown of Lubbock; his father, L.P. Shugart of Plainview; one sister, Carolyn Stallings of Plainview; and six grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother, Janie Shugart; and brother, Mac Shugart.
