Obituary

Funeral services for Elizabeth Shedd, 72, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Q.D. Bevill, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home. Mrs. Shedd died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2005. She was born Aug. 20, 1932, in Tahoka, the daughter of Walter and Grace Crabb. She married Lloyd M. Shedd in Post on Sept. 2, 1950. Survivors include two daughters, Kathy Chandler of LaRue and Teresa Harriss of Plainview; one son, Harvey Shedd of Plainview; three brothers, Arthur Crabb of Hamlin, Thomas Crabb of Hico and Clarence Crabb of Lubbock; four sisters, Virginia Cox of Stephenville, Louise Perry of Valley, Okla., Clara Jean Weaver of Quanah and Pat Heibert of Hamlin; and eight grandchildren. Her husband; one son, Charles Shedd; a sister, Juanita Wilson; and two grandchildren are deceased. The family suggests memorials to the Bethel Baptist Church Building Fund or to the Alzheimer's Association.
