Obituary

Funeral services for Bobby Shaddix, 70, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Lemons Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Roger Foote, pastor of Northside Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home. Mr. Shaddix died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2005, in Plainview. He was born Dec. 21, 1934, the son of Walter and Ruth Shaddix, in Hollis, Okla. He married Mildred Miller on April 19, 1952, in Hobbs, N.M. Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Debbie Owens of Lubbock, Barbara Carson of Hart and Glenda Favila and Brenda Shaddix, both of Plainview; a brother, Amos Shaddix; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today in the funeral home
