Obituary

Laura Teran Settle, 42, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2014, in Kansas. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014, at Plainview Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Doug Yates officiating. Burial followed in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Laura was born on June 6, 1972, to Alfredo Jr. and Alma Teran in San Antonio. She was preceded in death by her father Alfredo Teran. She is survived by her husband Tim Settle; two daughters, Vyanca Camacho and Victoria Mendoza; one son Jesse Camacho; her mother Alma Rodriguez; three brothers, Alfredo Teran, Reynaldo Tovar III and Victor Teran; three sisters, Cynthia Tassey, Alma Tovar and Maricruz Acosta; and six grandchildren.
