Obituary

Services for Adan Sepeda Sr., 79, of Plainview will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Date Street Baptist Church with the Rev. Santos Rodriguez officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Cemetery under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home. A prayer service will be at 7 p.m. today at the church. Mr. Sepeda died Monday, May 23, 2011, at Covenant Hospital Plainview. He was born Nov. 4, 1931, in Odell to Domingo and Refugia Sepeda. He married Maria Andrea Sepeda on March 5, 1952, in Plainview. He was self-employed and a member of Date Street Baptist Church. Survivors include four sons, Adan Sepeda, Alan Sepeda, Abdiel Sepeda and Alden Sepeda, all of Plainview; five brothers, Jesus Sepeda of San Antonio, Jose Sepeda of Hale Center, Domingo Sepeda of Arizona, Alfredo Sepeda of Plainview and Raul Sepeda of Lubbock; three sisters, Martina Aparcio of Plano, Maria Ordonez of Oregon and Angelita Flores of Odessa; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A son, Alfredo Sepeda, is deceased.
