Funeral services for James Randall "Randy" Seipp, 54, of Plainview will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church Chapel. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. Seipp died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011, in Plainview. He was born Sept. 26, 1956, in Fort Worth, Texas, to James Vernice and Wilma Lee Seipp. He married Leigh Angela Whitaker on Aug. 26, 1976, in Waco, Texas. She died April 4, 2009. He attended Baylor University where he met his wife, Leigh. He was owner of Seipp Machine Shop. He was past president of Plainview Country Club and an avid golfer. Survivors include a son, James Austin Seipp of Houston; two daughters, Ashley Nicole Seipp and Rebecca Leigh Seipp, both of Lubbock; and an aunt, Wilda Redin and her husband, Harley, of Plainview.
