Scott, Henry

Funeral services for Henry Scott, 87, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Lemons Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Don Robertson, pastor of College Heights Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home.

Mr. Scott died at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2000, in IHS Plainview.

He was born Jan. 6, 1913, in Redondo Beach, Calif. He moved to Bee County in 1928 and to the Claytonville community in Swisher County in 1934. He moved to Plainview in 1979.

He had worked in maintenance for the Wellington Apartments in Plainview for several years and had farmed in the Claytonville area until his retirement.

He was a member of College Heights Baptist Church.

On July 11, 1932, he married Rosie Lee Moore in Beeville. She died April 22, 1999.

Survivors include two nieces, Faye Cantieni of Fremont, Calif., and Alice Wittmer of Knoxville, Tenn.; two nephews, Dr. Ronald Moore and George Lee ?Rusty? Jaynes, both of Houston; and a sister, Clara McWhorter.

The family suggests memorials to College Heights Baptist Church, 820 Quincy, Plainview, TX 79072.
