Funeral services for Mary Sue Scott, 72, of Plainview will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at New Hope Baptist Church in Austin with the Rev. M.L. White officiating. Cremation arrangements are by Bartley Funeral Home. Mrs. Scott died Saturday, May 19, 2012, in Plainview. She was born April 9, 1940, in Marshall to Deane and Minnie Baton. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, the Rev. Michael and Janet White of Plainview; a daughter, Wanda Hodges of Austin; and a brother, Theodore White of Los Angeles, Calif.
