Savage, Lanny
Lanny Savage, 66, of Plainview went to his heavenly home on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015. Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015, in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Mr. Dee Teel officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Lanny was born on June 23, 1949, to Cleatus and Helen Savage in Plainview where he was a life-long resident. Lanny was a massage therapist, an avid golfer, and was a longtime member of Plainview Country Club. His other passion was raising and training horses. Lanny was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents Melvin and Faye Gregg and Lowell and Ida Savage. He is survived by six children, Michelle Savage of Arlington, Casey Savage of Murphy, Shane Savage of Lubbock, Shawn Savage of Midland, Becca Emert-Ford of Arlington, Beau Savage of Lubbock; 17 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is survived by two sisters, Vinita Wright of Dallas, Seliece Majors of Milburn, Oklahoma; one brother, Aaron Savage of Plainview; and many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
