Obituary

Funeral Mass for Alicia Saucedo, 48, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with the Rev. Raymundo Manriquez officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Lemons Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mrs. Saucedo died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2009, in Lubbock. She was born Jan. 21, 1961, to Jose Pio and Maria Negrete. She was a long-time resident of Plainview and was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband, Felipe Saucedo Calvillo; two brothers, Jose G. Negrete of Plainview and Arnold Negrete of Oklahoma; and three sisters, Rosalinda Zivec of Alamo, Paula Saucedo of Plainview and Lupita Lopez of Fort Worth. Her two brothers, Raymond and Frankie Negrete, and two sisters, Elvia Millican and Ofelia Molina, are deceased.
