Obituary

Graveside services for Mary Helen Satterfield, 65, of Plainview, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Plainview Memorial Park with the Rev. Matt Wolfington of St. Luke United Methodist Church in Lubbock officiating. Burial will be by Bartley Funeral Home of Plainview. Mrs. Satterfield died Saturday, Dec. 31, 2005, in Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock. She was born March 8, 1940, in Plainview and grew up here. She attended St. Joseph's Academy in Abilene. She married Carlyle Satterfield on Feb. 4, 1959, in Clovis, N.M. She was a homemaker and mother. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be missed dearly. Survivors include her husband, Carl; two sons, Kelly Dean Satterfield and wife Tammi of Lubbock and Kerry Satterfield of Austin; and one grandson, Kolby Satterfield of Lubbock. Her parents, Gus and Cathryn Crownover, and a brother, Ricky Crownover, are deceased. The family will receive friends from 6-8 tonight at the funeral home.
