Funeral services for Alfonso ?Pancho? Sandoval , 74, will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with the Rev. John Ohlig, pastor, officiating.
Burial services will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home.
A rosary will be recited at 7 tonight in the Lemons Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Sandoval died at 1:22 a.m. Friday, July 4, 2003, in University Medical Center in Lubbock.
He was born May 25, 1929 in Martindale and served in the U.S. Army.
He married Elma Gomez on Sept. 6, 1929 in Plainview.
Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Belinda Salas of South Port, C.C; a brother, Joe Sandoval of Dallas; six sisters, Esperanza Silva of Dallas, Olivia S. Gonzales of Plainview, Elvira Hernandez, Josephina Cabellero, Olga Guerrero and Ospicia Garza, all of New Braunfels; four grandchildren, 37 nieces and nephews; 107 great nieces and nephews and 42 great-great nieces and nephews.
Two sisters are deceased.
