Sanders, Minnie Mae (Chuckie) Smith

Funeral services for Minnie Mae ?Chunkie? Sanders, 75, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Abernathy Church of Christ with David Bennett officiating.

Funeral arrangements are by Brock?s South Plains Funeral Directors of Lubbock.

Ms. Sanders died Saturday, Oct. 5, 2002.

She was born Jan. 24, 1927, in Corsicana.

Survivors include three sons, Clarence and Keith Sanders, both of Abernathy, and David Sanders of Amarillo; three daughters, Arnie Harris of Lubbock, Vanessa Mathis of Sweeny and Lonnie Satterfield of Amarillo; two brothers, Dave Smith Jr., and George Smith, both of Lubbock; four sisters, Daisy Dixon-Young, Maudie Powell and Burlene Henry, all of Lubbock, and Ivora Ingram of Olton; 27 grandchildren; and 54 great-grandchildren.
