Sanders, Milton Lee (Sonny)

Funeral services for Milton Lee ?Sonny? Sanders, 60, of Plainview, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Bartley-Silva Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Harvey officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Amarillo.

Mr. Sanders died Sunday, Sept. 7, 2002, at Brick in Hall County.

He was born April 16, 1942, in Memphis, Texas, where he grew up and attended schools. He had worked for Coca-Cola in Lubbock for 15 years.

He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Plainview and was a Christian. He married Donna Sue McCay on May 28, 1966, in Lubbock.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Richard of Amarillo and Tommy and Nicky, Both of Plainview; six brothers, David Sanders of Fort Worth, Allen Sanders of Eunice, N.M., Carl Sanders of Hereford, Ariz., Billy Sanders and Marcus Sanders, both of Happy, and Joe Sanders of Amarillo; four sisters, Janet Strickland of Bangs, Linda Malone of Wolfforth, Brenda Schacher of Nazareth and Carrie Cruz of Albuquerque, N.M.; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
