Funeral services for Ophilia Garcia Sanchez, 91, will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Lemons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Leonel Gonzales, pastor of Genesis Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Lemons Funeral Home. Rosary service will be at 6 tonight at Lemons Funeral Home. Mrs. Sanchez died Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2005, in Covenant Hospital Plainview. She was born June 15, 1914, to Augustiano Garcia and Ramona Argullo Garcia in Alamogordo, N.M. She married Martin Sanchez in 1941 in Plainview. Survivors include one daughter, Milli Mitchell of Plainview; one son, Bisente Garcia of Corpus Christi; eight grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren, and 27 great-great-grandchildren. Her husband and a daughter, Mary Pena, are deceased.
