Sanchez, Jesse O.

Funeral Mass for Jesse O. Sanchez, 66, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Elbert Fadallan, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home.

Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today in Colonial Chapel at the funeral home.

Mr. Sanchez died at 9:58 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2000, at his residence.

He was born June 16, 1933, in Hallettsville. He moved to Plainview in 1960 and was a farmer most of his life.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

On Dec. 31, 1958, he married Jessie Vargas in Levelland.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Joe Sanchez and Robert L. Sanchez both of Plainview; a step brother, Donato Sanchez of Morton; a sister, Sally Swann of Frederick, Okla; six step-sisters, Julie Garza, Gloria Sanchez, Adela Sanchez, Fruste Garcia and Lucia Sanchez, all of Victoria, and Mary Rosas of Houston; two nieces that he raised, Linda Cantu and Cristina Vagai, both of Plainview; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A sister Janie Coffey and a stepbrother, Augustine Sanchez are deceased.

Pallbearers will be Michael, Jerry, Richard and Jesse R. Sanchez and Paul, Bobby and Charles Nunn.
