Obituary

Bernabe "Felix" Sanchez Jr., 49, of Plainview passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2014. Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014, at Lemons Funeral Chapel with Steve Martinez officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park. Mr. Sanchez was born on March 5, 1965 in Memphis, Texas, to Bernabe and Eulalia (Cisneros) Sanchez. He married Misty (Garza) in Randall County on Dec. 12, 2012. Mr. Sanchez was employed as a truck driver for Dee King Trucking. He was known by many to be a very big fan of the San Francisco 49ers, and a very big dice collector. The band KISS was one of his favorites, he loved all kinds of music, and he was very crafty. His family would tell you that he loved to joke with you, but he had a heart of gold, and the most important thing in his life was the love for his family, especially his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by one sister Christina Sanchez and one granddaughter Vanessa Sanchez. Those left to cherish his memory are his parents Bernabe and Eulalia; his wife Misty; two daughters, Michelle and Veronica Sanchez; one stepson Alphonso Alejandre; one stepdaughter Tonya Alejandre; two brothers, Tony and Michael Sanchez; three sisters, Josie Rodriguez, Isabell Pizana and Stella Marroquin.
