Funeral Mass for Adam Salinas, 17, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Arsenio Redulla officiating. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens by Bartley Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mr. Salinas died Friday, March 20, 2009, at his residence. He was born June 27, 1991, in Plainview to Esmeralda "Esme" Vasquez and Tim Salinas. He grew up in Plainview and was a senior at Houston High School. Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Esmeralda "Esme" Vasquez and Ernest Picasso Jr., of Plainview; his father and stepmother, Tim and Marcela Salinas of Plainview; one brother, Saul Vasquez of Plainview; four sisters, Meagan Vasquez, Amber Vasquez, Mikaela "Mikki" Salinas and Mercedes Salinas, all of Plainview; his grandparents, Anita and Robert Garza Sr., and Jose and Esperanza Salinas, all of Plainview; father figure, Johnny Sandlin of Plainview; stepfather, Luis Vasquez Jr., of Plainview; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
