Obituary

Graveside services for Teresa Salazar, 72, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Plainview Cemetery with the Rev. Reynaldo Reyes officiating. Burial arrangements are by Lemons Funeral Home. Mrs. Salazar died Monday, Nov. 29, 2004, in Prairie House Living Center. She was born Oct. 15, 1932, in San Benito. She married Jose Marie Salazar. He is deceased. Survivors include five daughters, Herminia Luna, Guadalupe Maldonado and Maria Delores Salazar, all of Plainview, San Juana Oliva of Mexico and Carolina Zarazara of California; four sons, Bernardo Salazar, Jose Marie Salazar, Daniel Salazar and Pete Salazar, all of Plainview; 17 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Two daughters, Esperanza Salazar and San Juana Sanchez and one son, Johnny Salazar, also are deceased.
