Obituary

Funeral Mass for Marslino "Ray" Salas, 61, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Arsenio Redulla, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Lemons Funeral Home. A rosary will be at 6 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. Salas died Monday, July 14, 2008. He was born June 2, 1947, in Lubbock to Clemente and Martha Salas. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Survivors include five sons, Henry Salas, Ramond Salas and Salvador Salas, all of Lubbock, and Leroy Fores and Fabian Salas, both of Plainview; three daughters, Martha Garcia of Plainview and Flora Espinoza and Sylvia Esparza, both of Lubbock; three brothers, Sylvester Salas and Juan "Johnny" Rosales, both of Amarillo, and Domingo Trinidad of Greeley, Colo.; one sister, Maria Martinez of Greeley, Colo.; his ex-wife, Pauline Espinoza of Lubbock; 35 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildre
