Obituary

Funeral Mass for Salvador Salais, 79, will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Lemons Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Steve Martinez, pastor of New Life Assembly of God, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Lemons Funeral Home. Mr. Salais died Monday, Sept. 26, 2005, in Covenant Hospital Lubbock. He was born March 28, 1926, in Ciudad Acuna, Coahuila, Mexico, to Eloy and Feliciana Salais. Survivors include two daughters, Sylvia Bruster of San Antonio and Sonya Pineda of Earth; three sons, Richard Salais of San Antonio, Thomas Salais of Crystal City and Ruben Escamilla of Amarillo; two sisters, Maria and Lisa Salais; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Two brothers, Eloy and Jesus Salais, and his parents are deceased.
