Saenz, Alfredo

Alfredo Saenz, 88 of Plainview, passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2018. Funeral Services are scheduled for 10 o?clock in the morning on Monday, November 26, 2018 at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Plainview Cemetery. Mr. Saenz will lie in repose from 1 o?clock in the afternoon until 8 o?clock in the evening on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Alfredo was born on January 2, 1930 to Alfredo Saenz and Andrea Marroquin in Hebbronville, TX. On January 1, 1951, Alfredo married Elva Gonzales in Hebbronville, TX. His main objective was to work. Two of the saddest days for him was when he retired from Daffern Steel and the day his wife died. Alfredo started working for his family at age 8. He was a jack of all trades, he had every tool you could imagine and loved every single one. He did plumbing work, carpentry and lots more. Even while on vacation he found work to do. Alfredo was meticulous about his appearance. Always had his boots on, nice haircut, a clean shave and looking his best.

He was preceded in death by his wife and his parents.

Alfredo was survived by two daughters; Estella Hernandez and husband Pete and Teresa Landeros and husband Johnny; Five grandchildren; Irene Hernandez, Pete Hernandez Jr., Judy McDonald, Amanda Hernandez and Abel Castillo; ten great-grandchildren seven great-grandchildren; seven great-great- grandchildren; and one sister Lulu Rodriguez.
