Russell, Linnie Mae

Graveside services for Linnie Mae Russell, 91, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Parklawn Memorial Gardens with Dr. Travis Hart, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial arrangements are by Lemons Funeral Home.

Mrs. Russell died at 3:15 a.m. in Corsicana. She grew up in East Texas where she attended schools. She moved to Plainview in 1936 and to Amarillo Air Base as a printer and later worked at the Amarillo Globe-News as a collector, retiring in 1973. She moved to Plainview in 1995.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Amarillo.

Survivors include a daughter, Nina Snider of Plainview; one sister Ethel Morris of Amarillo; one grandson; three great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
