Russell, Bobby Lee

Funeral services for Bobby Lee Russell, 55, will be at 11 a.m. Firday in Wood-Dunning Colonial Chapel with Wayne Lemons, minister of Ash and Carver Church of Christ, officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Wood-Dunning Funeral home.

Mr. Russell died at 9:44 p.m. Satuday, Jan. 24, 2004, in Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.

He was born June 13, 1948, the son of Roosevelt and Lucille Russell, in Petersburg where he grew up and attended schools. He moved to Lubbock in 1968 and to Plainview in 1989.

He was a welder for Eagle Picher Company while in Lubbock.

Survivors include his fiancee, LaDonna Heads of Plainview; seven children, Bobby Russell and wife, Carolyn of Fort Knox, Ky., Larhonda Sawyer of Las Vegas, Nev., Demepra Burns and husband, Clay of Fort Meyer, Va., Sidney Russell of Fort Benning, Ga., Michael Russell of Lubbock, LaQuita Russell of dallas and TiKia Russell of Plainview; 10 brothers and sisters, Roger Lee Rusell and Sandra Owens of Plainview, Simon Russell of Oklahoma, Jimmy Lee Russell and Dorothy N. Russell of Fort Worth, Gilbert B. Russell of Oklahoma City and Landra C. Russell, Russell K. Russell, Roosevelt Russell Jr. and Brenda L. Tilman of Lubbock; and 12 grandchildren.
