Funeral services for Serena Talley Rupe, 38 of Plainview will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012 at Seth Ward Baptist Church with the Rev. Brent Anderson officiating and the Rev. Richard Miller assisting. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. Mrs. Rupe died Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, in Lubbock. She was born on June 2, 1974, in Friona to Bobby and Linda Talley. She grew up in Clovis, N.M., and attended Clovis schools. She was a homemaker and a member of Seth Ward Baptist Church. She is survived by husband Oliver Rupe, son Andrew Rupe, daughters Sarah and Abigail Rupe, mother Linda Talley and brother Joseph Talley, all of Plainview She was preceded in death by her father.
