Obituary

Funeral services for Matthew Luke Ruiz, son of Valarie Ruiz Cervantes of Plainview, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Lemons Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Hermilio Perez, pastor of Casa De Oracion, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home. He was stillborn on Monday, Feb. 4, 2008, at Covenant Hospital Plainview. He is survived by his mother; one brother, Jeriah Ruiz; his grandfather and stepgrandmother, Jose and Martha Ruiz of Hale Center; his grandmother and stepgrandfather, Suzie Ruiz and Gilberto Garcia of Hale Center; and his great-grandmother, Josephine Lopez of Hale Center. His great-grandparents, Pete and Sandy Cervantes, are deceased.
