Obituary

Jesse Garland Rollins, 91, of Plainview passed away on Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014, at St. Alice Catholic Church. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Mr. Rollins was born Jan. 15, 1923, in Snyder, Texas, to Jesse and Iva Rollins. He married Laura Samson on June 20, 1975. Mr. Rollins served in the U.S. Army and worked as a salesman for Orkin. Mr. Rollins is survived by his wife, Laura Rollins of Plainview; one son, David Rollins of Florida; and two nephews, Larry Rollins and Reggie Rollins, both of Plainview.
