Graveside services for Tommy Russell "Rusty" Rogers, 49, of Amarillo were at 2 p.m. today in Plainview Memorial Park with the Rev. Ed Norris of Silverton officiating.
Burial arrangements were by Wallace Funeral Home of Tulia.
Mr. Rogers died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2003, in Amarillo.
He was born July 26, 1954, in Amarillo and grew up in Vigo Park in Swisher County. He graduated from Silverton High School and attended West Texas A&M University. He transferred to Texas Tech University where he received a degree in agriculture.
He served with the U.S. Army and was an assistant ag teacher at Tulia High School before going into the car business.
Survivors include a daughter, Emily Rogers; a son, Zac Russell Rogers; a brother, Martin Darrell Rogers of Amarillo; a sisters, Sherry Rhondell of Amarillo; and his father, Rex Rogers of Vigo Park.
His mother, Marie V. Rogers, is deceased.
