Rogers, Mike

Funeral Mass for Mike Rogers, 59, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with the Rev. John Ohlig, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Bartley-Silva Funeral Home.

Rosary will be recited at 7 tonight at the funeral home.

Mr. Rogers died Friday, May 16, 2003, in Covenant Hospital Lubbock.

He was born April 4, 1944 in Plainview and resided here all of his life. He was a car salesman and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Surviving are four daughters, Amanda Rogers, Delia Rogers and Glenda Rogers, all of Plainview, and Venessa Rogers Garcia of Lubbock; a son, Arthur Ray Rogers of Plainview; six stepchildren; three brothers, Lupe Rogers of Plainview, Ernest Rodriguez of Dallas and Pete Soliz of Hamlin; a sister, Margaret Castillo of Midland; and 19 grandchildren.

Two brothers, Paul Soliz and Johnny Soliz; a sister, Rosa Delacarda, and a grandchild are deceased.
