Obituary

Funeral Mass for Bersa Rodulfo, 67, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with the Rev. Glen Rosendale, pastor of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Lubbock, and Benny Brito, deacon, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Bartley-Silva Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel. Mrs. Rodulfo died Monday, April 1, 2002, in Lubbock after a brief illness. She was under hospice care. She was born March 15, 1935, in Yeso, N.M. She moved to Plainview in 1964 from Anton and had worked for Vick?s Cleaners for more than 30 years. She was a supporter of the PHS Band Boosters and very active in Crime Stoppers. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. On Jan. 5, 1950, she married Lupe Rodulfo in Lubbock. He died Jan. 31, 1992. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, John and Cella Rodulfo of Plainview; a daughter, Linda Segura of Lubbock; a brother, Rocky Garcia of Idalou; and six grandchildren, Tim and Manuel Segura, both of Lubbock, and Scott, Zack and Shae Rodulfo, and Stacy Griego, all of Plainview. Pallbearers will be Tim Segura, Manuel Segura, Scott Rodulfo, Zack Rodulfo, David Brito and David Medina. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. today at the rosary in the funeral home chapel. Memorials are suggested to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Plainview or in Lubbock.
