Rodriquez, Joe

Funeral services for Joe Rodriquez, 96, will be at 2p.m. Thursday in Iglesia Bautista Alpha y Omega with the Rev. Glen Godsey, officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home.

Mr. Rodriquez died at 9:45 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17, 2000, in Odessa.

He was born Feb. 17, 1905, in San Marcos. He worked for Santa Fe Railroad from 1922 to 1960 and, after retiring, settled in Plainview and worked for Hale County. He had lived in Odessa since 1993.

He was a member of Iglesia Bautista Alpha y Omega.

He and his wife, Mary, were married in 1949 in Cameron. She died Jan. 12, 1981.

Survivors include three daughters, Margaretta Mata of Lubbock and Tommie Garcia and Mary Jane DeLeon, both of Odessa; 22 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
