Fernando B. Rodriquez

Funeral services for Fernando B. Rodriquez, 82, will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Gerard Kenny, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Bartley Funeral Home.

Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel.

Mr. Rodriquez died Tuesday, March 16, 2004, in Plainview.

He was born March 11, 1922, in Floresville. He moved to Plainview in 1956 and worked as a carpenter, farmer and provided lawn service.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Cursillistas and Knights of Columbus and enjoyed watching westling and baseball.

Survivors include his wife, Maria; four sons; Inocente Rodriquez of Plainview, Gavino Rodriquez of San Marcos, Calif. and Antonio Rodriquez and Richard Rodriquez, both of Lubbock; four daughters, Mary Quintanilla of San Antonio, Olivia Villa of Cleveland, Texas and Estella Gonzales and Anna Soliz, both of Plainview; 23 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

A son, Jose Angel Rodriquez, is deceased.
