Services for Alejandro Rodriquez, 67, of Plainview will be at 2 p.m. today in Bartley Memorial Chapel with Pastor Manuel Rodriguez, care pastor of First Assembly of God, officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. Mr. Rodriquez died Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010, at University Medical Center in Lubbock. He was born to the late Manuel and Patricia Escobedo Rodriquez on July 30, 1943, in Alamo, Texas. A lifelong resident of Plain?view, he met the love of his life, Eva Alfaro, in 1990. He was working at Azteca and was a truck driver for last 23 years. Survivors include the love of his life, Eva Alfaro of Plainview; a daughter, Dora Rodriquez and her husband, Bacilio, of Denver, Colo.; one stepson, Joe Alfaro of Plainview; four stepdaughters, Letty Santos and Debra Alfaro, both of Plainview, Angie Flores of Hobbs, N.M., and Lisa Sosa of Lubbock; one grandchild, Rolando Rodriquez; and a host of step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
