Obituary

Rodrigo Rodriguez, 86, died on Friday July 24, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2015, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Arsenio Redulla officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Monday, July 27, 2015, at the funeral home. Mr. Rodriguez was born on Dec. 26, 1928, to Cruz and Transito Rodriguez. He married Cruz Almendarez on Feb. 7, 1955, in Lockney. She preceded him in death on Oct. 14, 2014. Mr. Rodriguez was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He is survived by one daughter, Bertha Ramirez and husband Robert of Amarillo, Texas; one son, Onofre Rodriguez and wife Linda of Plainview, Texas; six grandchildren, Bobby Ramirez, Alicia Harrison and husband Mervin, Onofre Rodriguez Jr. and wife Sandi, Leonard Rodriguez, Elisha Rodriguez and Elianna Rodriguez; and 12 great-grandchildren.
