Funeral Mass for Jose Rodriguez, 61, of Plainview will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Arsenio Redulla officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Bartley Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited from 7-8 p.m. today at Bartley Memorial Chapel. Mr. Rodriguez died Saturday, July 15, 2006, at Vista Care Center at Carillon House in Lubbock. He was born Oct. 1, 1944, in Mathis to Miguel and Librada Rodriguez. He lived in Plainview for 28 years. He was a truck driver most of his life and worked for Wilson and Reynolds trucking companies. Survivors include two sons, Joe Rodriguez of Artesia, N.M., and David Rodriguez of Lubbock; three brothers, Domingo Rodriguez of Amarillo and Filemon Rodriguez and Miguel Rodriguez, both of Uvalde; one sister, Rosa Hernandez of Plainview; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. His parents and grandparents; one daughter, Lillie Barlow; one sister, Estella Quintana; and one brother, Pedro Rodriguez, are deceased.
