Obituary

Funeral services for Eduardo Angel "Eddie" Rodriguez Jr., 29, of Lubbock, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Reynaldo Reyes, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. today at Wood-Dunning Colonial Chapel. Mr. Rodriguez died Monday, Oct. 4, 2004, in Lubbock. He was born on Sept. 22, 1975, in Lockney. He grew up in Floydada where he attended schools. He graduated from Plainview High School in 1994. He attended West Texas A&M and worked at Amarillo Affiliated before moving to Lubbock in 2001 where he worked for TYCO. Survivors include his partner and special friend, Tara Turner of Lubbock; one daughter, Haley Luz Maria Rodriguez of Shallowater; his father and stepmother, Eduardo Rodriguez Sr. and Isabel Alvarez of Plainview; one stepbrother, Mark Alvarez of Plainview; one sister, Andrea Rodriguez of Plainview; one stepsister, Amy Alvarez of San Marcos; and his grandmother, Amelia Rodriguez of Alice. His mother, Luz Maria Rodriguez, and a sister, Maria Luz Rodriguez, are deceased.
