Graveside services for Ruby Rodgers, 79, of Plainview will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Parklawn Memorial Gardens. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Garland Street Church of Christ with J.W. Hamby officiating. Services are under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Rodgers died Friday, Dec. 3, 2010, in Lubbock. She was born Aug. 25, 1933, in Amber, Okla. She married Charlie Rodgers on Aug. 25, 1958, in Wichita, Kan. She was a graduate of Amarillo College. She was an avid Texas Tech fan and a member of Garland Street Church of Christ. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Mark A. and Stacey Rodgers of Grapevine; one daughter and son-in-law, Marsha R. and Jamie Mickler of Keller; one sister, Lola Doss of Tuttle, Okla.; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
