Obituary

PETERSBURG - Funeral services for Juan Rodela, 72, were at 2 p.m. today in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Louis Dussan, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Petersburg Cemetery by Lemons Funeral Home. Mr. Rodela died at 11:50 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, 2001, in Covenant Medical Hospital in Plainview. He was born June 24, 1929, in Little River. He grew up in the San Marcos area where he attended schools. He moved to Petersburg in 1956 and was a farmer and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Survivors include one brother, Isabel Rodela of Petersburg; one sister, Julia Marquez of Lubbock; seven nieces and seven nephews.
