Funeral services for Ella Faye Robertson, 80, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Ninth and Columbia Church of Christ with Alvin Law, Darren Bryan and Steve White officiating.
Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home.
Mrs. Robertson died at 4:45 a.m. Monday, Sept. 4, 2000, in Baptist/St. Anthony?s Hospice in Amarillo.
She was born May 11, 1920, in Vernon. She grew up south of Plainview in the Happy Union Community and graduated from Petersburg High School. She attended Howard Payne College in Brownwood. She lived in Friona and Plainview before moving to Amarillo. She was a retired homemaker and had worked for Drs. Shackelford and Barron in Amarillo.
She was a member of Paramount Terrace Christian Church in Amarillo and was a BSA volunteer at Park Place Towers. She was a former member of Beta Sigma Phi.
She married Clarence B. Robertson in 1980. He died in February 1986.
Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Elaine Holcomb White and Peggy and Don Williams, all of Amarillo, and Phyllis and Eddie Bryan of Happy; three brothers, Elton Wilson of Plainview, James Wilson of Vadita, N.M., and Luke Wilson of Amarillo; four sisters, Helen Rogers of Texaco, N.M., and daisy Law, Jeanie Mayo and Louise Widener, all of Plainview; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A grandson, Kevin Rogers, is deceased.
The family suggests memorials to High Plains Children?s Home or BSA Hospice.
