Obituary

Margarita Riojas, 35, of Plainview passed away surrounded by her family on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013. A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013, at Lemons Memorial Chapel with Pastor Hermilo Perez officiating. Interment will follow the service in Plainview Cemetery. Funeral service arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home. Open visitation will be from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 25, 2013, at the funeral home, and there will be a prayer service at 6 p.m.

Margarita was born on Aug. 17, 1978, in Lovell, Wyo., to Cristobal Riojas Sr. and Maria (Flores) Riojas. Margarita graduated from Plainview High School in 1998. She enjoyed traveling with her mother. She loved to dance, and she loved spending time with her poodle "Casper." She also enjoyed going to church with her mother. Margarita and her mother were the best of friends and were inseparable. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Margarita was member of Templo Galilea of Plainview.
Margarita is survived by her mother, Maria Riojas; her brothers, Cristobal Riojas Jr. and Ruben Riojas, all of Plainview; her sisters, Margie Salazar and her husband Juan of Dumas, Texas, Geneva Urrutia and her husband Silas of Lockney and Sylvia Camarillo and her husband Ramon of Amarillo. She was preceded in death by her father, Cristobal Riojas Sr.
