Obituary

Lexie B. Riggins, 83, of Denver, Colo., formerly of Plainview, Texas, passed Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2007. She was born Sept. 25, 1924. She leaves to cherish her memories one son, James Earl (Michelle); two daughters, Rose Lewis (George) and Melanie Wilson (Vincent); two sisters, Lizzie Rayson and Ruthie M. Griggs; 22 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; some great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007, at Agape Temple with burial at Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Griffin Mortuary of Lubbock. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today.
