Rieken, Tonyus Habbo (Tony)

Services for Tony Rieken, 85, of New Deal will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Abernathy Church of Christ with burial in Abernathy Cemetery under direction of Franklin-Bartley Funeral Home in Lubbock.

Rieken died Wednesday, July 1, 1998, in Methodist Hospital.

He married Ruth Helen Greenhill on Jan. 24, 1937, in New Deal. He was a member of the Church of Christ, where he was a deacon, elder and treasurer. He served on the New Deal school board, and he received an FFA Award.
