Obituary

A private memorial service and burial for Carol Richardson, 68, will be held at a later date at Abernathy Cemetery. Arrangements are by Bartley Funeral Home of Plainview. Mrs. Richardson died Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2011, in Hale Center. She was born March 8, 1943, in Littlefield to Clyoma Grant and Robert Lee Adams. She married Glenn Taylor Richardson on Dec. 30, 1978, in Lubbock. He died Dec. 18, 2010. She was a truck driver and member of Beta Sigma in Plainview. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Abernathy. She recently moved from Plainview to Lubbock. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and LeAnne Bandy and Mark and Laurie Bandy, all of Lubbock; a daughter, Suzanne Scott of Amarillo; a brother, Rick Adams of Dallas; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
